Red Clover Hermit Thrush

Described as having a lovely, melancholy sound, the song of the hermit thrush can be heard throughout its home in New England. Sometimes you might even see this chubby cutie hanging out in fields of the Vermont state flower, the red clover. It is the only thrush likely to be seen in winter in North America, which makes it the perfect choice for the state bird of Vermont.
